Botox, which was introduced in 1989, is known for its ability to smooth wrinkles, but it is also approved to treat other conditions including neck spasms, excessive underarm sweating and migraine headaches. Botox is a toxin that is potentially dangerous if administered by a non-professional and it certainly should not be used on minors purely cosmetic reasons. Kerry seems oblivious to the harm that she could be inflicting on her daughter by giving her unknown, unproved substances at such a young age.
We hope that with the media bringing this to light and publishing stories like this it will hopefully push the government into reviewing legislation on how Botox is supplied, performed and who is receiving it.
We can not stress enough that if any adult is considering Botox for cosmetic reasons to discuss everything thoroughly with an expert first.
